Any laboratory report has to be submitted as a single Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx), which contains:
- all the necessary descriptive sections of the report,
- calculation codes,
- graphs,
- figures,
- answers to additional questions.
Possible, additional questions will be posted to students as online tests. In this case, solutions do not have to be included in the report.
All numerical data in the Excel file must be either:
- the results of experiments,
- physical and mathematical constants,
- be calculated by Excel codes in the same file.
It is not allowed to do calculations outside the report, separately, for example, by a calculator, and then insert the calculation result into the report, since part of our lab course is getting calculation skills in Excel. All calculations and charting should be performed in your report file automatically when changing the initial data, namely the measurement results.
